Reimbursement procedure

If you want to do psychotherapy as a legally insured patient, you normally turn to a contract psychotherapist of the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians (KV). Unfortunately, it is very regrettebly the case - and you may have already had this experience while looking for a therapy place - that contract therapists often have no free capaceties. Often these colleagues are so busy that they can no longer even respond to the many requests. However, since you as a patient have the right for a prompt treatment, one can – if the appointments service of th KV cannot find a practitioner for you in a timely manner – of "system failure" and in this case you may receive psychotherapy from an equivalent trained psychological psychotherapists without a contract with the KV (e.g. by me). There are a few things to consider for such an application – however, the chances are good (depending on your health insurance company) of getting approved for therapy. You can let the reimbursement process run parallel to your search for free capaceties at contract therapists - in this respect you can only win!

If you, as a patient with statutory health insurance, are interested in treatment by me, please contact me to make an appointment for a free telephone consultation.
